Adeline Himpens' practice focuses on labor law, criminal law, migration law, contract law and recovery of assets, including complex and cross-border litigation.
She advises and represents individuals and companies in civil, criminal and administrative procedures. For example, her diversified practice enables her to defend employers and workers in all matters, as well as the rights of accused persons or plaintiffs in cases involving adults and minors. Firmly convinced that a negotiated solution is often preferable to a trial, she engages in constructive discussions with the other parties involved in order to consider all possible alternatives in resolving disputes.
Adeline Himpens was admitted to the Geneva Bar in January 2024. Thanks to the previous experience she has acquired from working in several law firms in Geneva since 2014, the cases she processes are handled with pragmatism and a focus on finding concrete solutions, always adapting to the clients' needs. She joined our team in January 2024.
She is also involved in a series of projects run by the Geneva Bar Association, of which she is a member. In particular, Adeline Himpens is part of the Editorial Committee of the Young Bar association yearly review “Sous toutes reserves” which addresses current topics such as the modernization of the legal profession and the institutionalization of mediation (37th edition of "Sous toutes réserves"", 2024).
